My routine...
Sorry I haven't posted in about a week, it's just that I was pretty busy. In this post, I'll just tell you about my normal routine whenever I go for my riding lessons.
In the Philippines, many people just hire grooms and don't actually take care of their horses themselves.
I really love horses though, not just riding, so I try my best to personally give them the care they need and deserve.
I usually arrive an hour before the lesson starts and I start to groom Trojan and tack her up. I then warm her up for half an hour by walking her around the arena. I try to talk to her about whatever topic I can think of. I believe it helps strengthen our bond ;)
Then it's on to the lesson period, which is about an hour long. (More on that in my next posts)
After lessons, I would bring Trojan back to the stables and give her a bath (As mentioned, it's usually so hot here in the Philippines, so giving the horse a bath is recommended). I love this bit of my routine as much as the other parts because it's my way of saying thanks to Trojan for letting me ride her.
Once I finish giving her a bath, I usually give Trojan some carrots (she hates apples!) and, sometimes, I hand graze her too.

When I have to go already, I give Trojan a hug and go off to have a snack with my parents. :)
That's my routine… One I excitedly look forward to each time.
Please leave your comments and suggestions to my routine. Don't forget to follow this blog and tell others about it.
